I wasnt sure about this series at first, but come episode 2 I was hooked. One of the rare programmes that me and my hubby sit down together to watch. I spent the whole of this episode crying though!!! I really hope that Lillie doesnt die yet, and is around for some of the next series!

I’m glad I’m not the only one crying like a baby!! This show is the best on tv at the moment, I love all the characters. I hope they make a second series, just goes to show what a load of romantics we are lol. Can’t wait for next week, oh and I’ll try and remember to get a box of tissues before it starts next time!!

I love this show to pieces and am cheesed off that next weeks episode is the last was in tears tonight at lillie and eddies wedding and also when lillie was making the box for her kids but the real tearjerker for me was the ending . Has lillie died ?

Please ITV… there has to be a second series. And please don’t let lillie die. It’s not often I watch an entire series of anything but I just love every character in this. You hit the magic formula of funny, touching, tragic! Bizarrely for someone who can laugh in the face of Ghost, Beaches and anything else remotely “heart tugging” … you had me from the marry me post its!!!

I have loved every second of this series. All the actors are brilliant especially Lilly & Eddie. Ive cried so much tonight Im totally bunged up and my eyes are swollen – I was proper crying, the type where you cant even breathe. Its so well written………… but please please please dont let Lilly die!!

Amazing series, must admit was dubious at first, a lot of ITV dramas look great but are often good concepts but too long & drawn out. This series has been great, due to great writing & an amazingly likeable cast. Lucy Davis’ acting has been brilliant & the rest of the cast are fantastic too. Rare nowadays to watch such a touching drama where you actually care about the cast.
I too have been a jibbering wreck since watching it. Thats the sign of an excellent show. ITV would be mad not to commission a second series.

By far the best series on TV for a very long time, sobbed my way through episode 5. Beautifully written, fantastic cast, cannot fault one thing about it, please keep it going.

Most amazing series cant remember last time I was glued waiting for the next episode havent laughed and cried so much in ages BRILLIANT!!

I am disappointed with where this series has gone! Lilly’s character could have been explored much more in future series and now she is dying I can’t really see a future for it any more. It’s a shame – it had a promising start.

I have been hooked from day one…and living in Leeds, it’s nice to see it’s filmed here. Don’t want Lillie to die – Can’t she be around for the next series?? I cried like a baby last night. Proper tears falling off my nose! Best series in a long while and the soundtrack is really good.

Best thing on the box for ages. Bawled my eyes out last night.

I didn’t just cry at Monday night’s episode, I properly sobbed! I carried on crying into my pillow when I went to bed! Even talking about it with my colleague made my eyes fill up!!

I can’t believe they’ve killed off Lilly!! she was such a great character! They’re such great actors!!! Well done ITV!!!

What a brilliant series!! I’m an emotional wreck between laughing and crying. It was the attic scene that set me off knowing she will never see her children grow up and grow old with her husband, awwwwwww!

Wow,just watched this On Demand as kids had watched a dvd grrrr…sooooo sad,like all of you lot I was bawling,my heart went when the ambulance lights and siren started up…surely shes not dead ……..another series pretty please!!

Ditto what everyone else is saying (except Sadbh – boo on you.) Fantastic show – brilliantly written and acted! So rare to get a good combination like this! Keep it going, tv moguls! Alas, it is always the brilliant ones they snatch off air to put some muck on!
