I would love Lillie to come back next series like she did at the end of this one, popping up for each of them as needed, just as happens in real life when you loose someone special but still see them and chat to them in your daydreams. I would hate to loose Lillies character completely as she was so pivotal to them all.

Why is it that all good things come to an end – for months and months not a thing to watch then along came MSO – I think I must have kept the paper tissue companies well in business and also created even more ‘laughter lines’ about my face! Please will someone tell us if there is to be another series – the suspense is killing me!
Beautifully written script, strong characters and a honest and insightfull view of relationships. People are saying that it can’t end with unanswered questions but I don’t think it matters – thats life after all – it wouldn’t have seemed as real if it was all happy endings and loose ends tied up.To me it was a snapshot of their relationships and whilst I’m really sad not to see these characters again next week I wasn’t disappointed with the end. Please write more stuff like this though – and maybe make them 8 – 10 week runs as opposed to 6 as it just wasn’t enough !! )

The actors were all fantastic & brilliantly cast – especially little Joe. Shame we lost Lillie – the relationship between her & Eddie was something the majority of us only dream about and to top it all the wrtiers made it believeable.
Well done to everyone involved

An incredible show…absolutely LOVED it!!! Refreshing, real, full of emotions. I laughed and cried. Would love to see another series, want to see Clint and his lady friend sort things out and for once see a happy ending to a tale. Please don’t put Babs and Eddie together, lets see them both having to come to terms with Eddie moving on. The relationship between the teenagers needs to progress too, for the younger viewers this could be an education on the lives and loves of nearly adults…glad I won’t have to go through all that again! It would be really good to still have Lillie appear to Eddie a few times, like she did in the final episode and ultimately have a final goodbye when she gives him her blessing to move on.
Loved it, great acting, great story, fab characters MORE MORE MORE MORE PLEASE!

Congratulations to the writers and the cast. Superb!!
Funnily enough, on the Saturday before the last episode I saw Joe (aka Jack) in Deal with his real life parents.
This definitely has legs and must run like Forrest Gump! I agree with previous posts that Lily could remain in an ethereal role. Lucy was great as Lily, she must come back!!
Ideas for the next series? As it’s called Married, Single, Other, it’s a given that this has to remain the status quo in relation to the characters, but it’s obvious that this status changes, as in reality. I think it would be great to see the characters’ relationships develop and keep us guessing who’s going to be ‘Married’, ‘Single’, ‘Other’ at any given time. Series two in the Autumn?

i have to say i agree with the comments about “Lillie”
she was my favorite from the beginning and it’d be sad to lose her alltogether. (it was nice to see her pop back in right at the end, she seems to be the rational one who keeps everyone thinking about the big picture, in a nice happy medium and grounded haha she definately needs to be around to continue that even in spirit)
i’ve laughed, smiled and cried right the way through this series, sometimes simultaneously (thanks to lillie/lucy for that haha)
the cast was perfect and the acting was so natural which seems a bit difficult to find in tv at the moment.
cant wait to see what comes up next, dont let the love go to your heads keep it natural! love it.

I absolutely LOVE this show! There has to be a second series at least! Joe was amazing, and Lillie has to come back to each character every once in a while to give them guidance. Would really love Harry and Gina to get together and Clint and Abbey. I wish Fabiana would leave them alone! Dickie should clean up and win Babs back.
Overall, one of the best things on TV ever! I have sent my dad out to buy the DVDs now lol! There has to be more series, IT’S AMAZING!

If Lilly is REALLY gone, then a way to keep her in the show is to flashback to times in the past ie when the two of them met, when she bore her children, the friendships over the years and how they became so strong. This would of course require some pretty crafty writing so as not to destroy the flow of the show.
If Lilly ISN’T gone for real, then a possible scenario is a surgeon steps up who will attempt the surgey and of course succeeds. The question is can it work without coming off as too American?

absolutley fantastic!!!!!!!!! more!!!!!
Seems to be a lack of comments from guys but here goes… It made me laugh, it made me cry. The cast were superb in every way and I was hooked on the interactions between the characters, it seemed so natural. Superbly scripted and acted. It’s the best piece of tv I’ve seen in all the years I can remember. I loved Lucy Davies character, I want to find a Lillie…….!
This has been the best series ive seen in such a long time, ive never shed so many tears or had so many laughs for ages, there has to be another series, there just has to be.
Loved this series, really glad I watched it. Cried my eyes out on the last episode, total tear jerker… characters are fab…please make another one!!
wonderful series, the scene in the final episode where Joe put his mums toiletries in a wicker box and and sealed it up was absolutely heartbreaking, a simple scene, that had me in floods!
Loved the series, it was sexy, witty, funny, sad and fab hope for another series. But have just red Ally Ross review in yesterday’s paper and he is ripping it to shred’s,god know’s wot he sits down at night to watch….probably nothing!
just have to say best thing since cold feet its been nice to have something to look forward to watching hats off to all the actors just brilliant.
Loved the series. Brilliant storyline. Hit all emotions. Leavevs us wanting MORE>>MORE>>MORE>> please!
Wow I like many others was totally hooked. Monday nights just wont be the same.
There is still soooo much more that could be done with all the characters it cant just end there. It was amazingly writen heart breaking yet still full of that fantastic humour. It just cant end there.
This show is brilliant. I rleee wanna find out what happens with Harry and Gina.
Soo good, I was addicted.
Please don’t cancel it like everything else.
Does anyone know any of the songs which were played in seriers.
I wish they would release a soundtrack
Cant wait for more
x
No matter what, these genius writers, producers and directors simply must carry on their fabulous work and give us more more more!!! This series was brilliant; a great 7 weeks of laughs, tears and everything in between. We’re hooked on the great characters and their lives and need to have a second series…Pretty pretty please!!!
This is great, hope this isn’t the end !!! come on ITV !!!!!!!
Sound track was brilliant and shame to lose Lillie she was the best character !!
I don’t usually leave messages on sites like this but had to for MSO. I totally loved this series, it was the best thing I’ve seen on TV in ages! I laughed loads & cried more than that. The actors were all fantastic & brilliantly cast – especially little Joe. Shame we lost Lillie – the relationship between her & Eddie was something the majority of us only dream about and to top it all the wrtiers made it believeable.
Well done to everyone involved
MORE please!!!
An incredible show…absolutely LOVED it!!! Refreshing, real, full of emotions. I laughed and cried. Please please please please please please please make a second series and make it as long as possible. Am gutted that Lillie died, I loved her relationship with Eddie so hope that she can comeback as she did to Eddie in the last episode. PLEASE PLEASE MAKE A SECOND SERIES!
Come on, please make another series. My fav show. Love it!
The best thing on TV for ages,It made you laugh and cry all at the same time , brilliant casting.Shaun Dooley played a fantastic part. Another series is a must.
Steve you’re my only hope for sanity. Do you know what the name of the song was in episode 6 (I think) that contains the lyric “We had the time of our lives” or something like that.
Cheers,
Steve
I agree, so much mileage in all the characters, really need another series. I’d like to see Dickie wake up and make something of himself and get back with Babs! I think the idea of Lillie appearing to the characters from time to time is a cracking idea too!
I laughed, I cried, I loved it, please please please do some more.
Monday nights are not going to be the same if you don’t!
I loved this series to pieces, since the adverts came on ITV, i was completely hooked. Since watching the series, sad as I am about to admit I looked forward to a Monday night to see the next episode! Married Single Other definatley needs a comeback, we need to find out what happens to the characters in more depth!
<3
(it was nice to see her pop back in right at the end, she seems to be the rational one who keeps everyone thinking about the big picture, in a nice happy medium and grounded haha she definately needs to be around to continue that even in spirit)
i’ve laughed, smiled and cried right the way through this series, sometimes simultaneously (thanks to lillie/lucy for that haha)
the cast was perfect and the acting was so natural which seems a bit difficult to find in tv at the moment.
cant wait to see what comes up next, dont let the love go to your heads
keep it natural!
Was sceptical at first being a die hard cold feet fan but it was fab, great characters, great cast, laughs, tears the writers have done a great job. Please please write some more there is a great hole where cold feet was and this has finally filled it!! Will be adding the DVD to my collection!
Loved it, loved it, loved it. MORE PLEASE!!!
Watched the whole series of MSO and loved it… Bought the box set… Cant wait for Series 2!!!
I absolutely loved it!!!!!!!!! Very sad to lose Lillie she was amazing….. Please please can we have series 2 because you have definitely left us wanting more!
Definitely left wanting more. Loved it every bit of it!
Excellent series, can’t wait for the next. Tears, joy and just completely hooked
I’m sorry but it will be too cruel to leave this on just 6 episodes for all of us that were faithful followers. we want more i would watch this every year after year. please dont leave us like this.
we need more. This is the best series ive seen in years.
I LOVED the show!! I missed it on TV so caught up on ITVPlayer and ended up watching the whole series in three days. I weeped my eyes out on the final two episodes, it was so sad but completly brilliant. There MUST be another series.
